It’s time to normalize living with a disability

Disabilities are not rare. In fact, about 1 billion people live with some form of disability worldwide, according to the World Health Organization. That’s 15% of the world’s population. But across many industries, people who live with disabilities are not offered the same level of treatment, care, or experience. That’s often true of online experiences, where many organizations still fall behind accessibility standards.

Inclusive design is when a product's structure or features are usable by people of all backgrounds and abilities. Inclusive mobile web is similar in that it requires the mobile version of a site, app, or platform to be usable by those same people.
